It wasn't the best performance of Teofimo Lopez's career.
However, it was still good enough for "The Takeover" to retain his WBO junior welterweight world championship via a unanimous decision over Jamaine Ortiz in Las Vegas on Thursday night.
After the victory, Lopez gathered his focus enough to make a suggestion to welterweight king and arguably the best boxer in the sweet science today, Terence Crawford.
"None of these guys want to fight me," Ortiz began saying live on ESPN following his lackluster win.
"I'll fight Crawford at a catchweight. What's up then? I'm here! I'm ready, always been ready. I'm hungry, I'm younger, I'm prettier."
Well, Crawford caught wind of Lopez's comments quickly and took to his X account to respond.
Crawford didn't Lopez should have been granted the victory at all and felt like Lopez was emotional in the ring following the win because he "got a gift."
