After losing to Oleksandr Usyk by split decision in May, Tyson Fury let it be known that he thought he won the fight.
Following his second loss to Usyk on points in 2024 — this time by unanimous decision Saturday night — Fury again voiced his opinion that he should have been declared the winner.
"I think he got a Christmas gift from them judges, Christmas gift early," Fury said during his post-fight press conference in Riyadh.
"I felt I won the both fights," Fury tacked on. "I don't know what ... well, obviously I know what I had to do — knock him out to get a decision — but it's boxing and it happens."
He added: "There's no doubt in my mind I won the fight and that's it. We can't cry over it. What can you do? You get paid, you get laid and that's it, you go on."
The rematch Saturday night had all three judges scoring it 116-112 for Usyk, with an AI judge calling it 118-112 for the Ukrainian.
"I'll always believe until the day I die, I won that fight," Fury said.
"I think when you don't get the knockout, this is what happens, you can't guarantee a win."
