Joseph Parker has once again become a legitimate contender in the heavyweight division after beating Derek Chisora for a second time in a hard hitting contest in Manchester on Saturday night.

When speaking to Ade Oladipo and Tony Bellew on The DAZN Boxing Show, Parker said he is eager to get back in the ring as soon as possible.

"I want to come out as soon as I can. The most important thing is the more you’re in the ring, the more you’re learning, the more you’re developing, the more you’re getting better, it’s a continuation of what you previously did in the fight," Parker explained.

In terms of future opponents, the former WBO world heavyweight champion is keeping his options open as long as they pose a challenge.

"In terms of fighters, honestly, I’ll fight anyone, as long as it makes sense for the team and everyone agrees to it," Parker said.

"I want to keep challenging myself and fight the best out there."

When asked by Oladipo about whether he would be willing to face the winner of Luis Ortiz vs. Charles Martin on January 1st, Parker responded with: "I think it’s a good fight, there’s a lot of options out there."

Another potential opponent for Parker is a rematch with former unified world champion Andy Ruiz Jr. The pair went head-to-head for the vacant WBO title in December 2016 and on that occasion it was Parker who came out on top with a win via the judges' scorecards.
