"I'll put this chair across your face" - Eddie Hearn reveals what caused AJ and Daniel Dubois face off confrontationDAZN
The two British heavyweights will look to settle their differences on Saturday night.

There is nothing that quite beats an all-British dust up.

They always seem to have a different intensity when it comes to the build-up and the upcoming clash between Anthony Joshua and IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois is no different.

The two will meet at Wembley Stadium this coming Saturday, live on DAZN, in front of a sold out crowd for what should be a thrilling fight.

DAZN BET Joshua vs. Dubois offer

Joshua and Dubois are already household names for British fight fans, and with both men stalwarts in the heavyweight division, a bout between the two was one which many were eager to see.

When this fight was announced back in June, it was one which generated plenty of excitement, a resurgent Dubois going up against a Joshua who has once more become a wrecking machine, and then interest was further piqued following a physical confrontation during a face off which resulted in promoter Frank Warren having to separate both fighters.

During the conversation, it was clear Joshua was agitated by a comment made by Dubois which resulted in the former saying "I'll put this f—g chair across your face."

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, who was present at the time, revealed the reason behind an uncharestic aggressive response from the two-time world champion when speaking to DAZN

"The only thing that really sets AJ off is when someone sticks it on him," Hearn said.

"AJ doesn’t really want to be in that room, he’s done it a million times. It wasn’t pleasant but it was quite an interesting chat then Dubois said ‘well we can go now if you want’. I was like ‘oh f—g hell’ because that’s the one thing you say to AJ where he has to react.

"I think people sometimes presume AJ is just kind of, that corporate side of him, is not going to allow him to behave like that. But now so more tha ever I don’t think he really cares. And if you try to intimidate him physically, that’s the reaction you’re going to get."

Joshua and Dubois will meet in front of the world's media later today for the final press conference ahead of fight night.
