Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will lock horns this Saturday when the pair battle for the IBF heavyweight title in front of a record crowd at Wembley Stadium.
However, the main event fight won't be the first time the two British heavyweights have met in the ring. The pair sparred together when Dubois was a teenager breaking into the Team GB squad and Joshua was an Olympic champion.
Several rumours have emerged from those sparring encounters, mostly centred on Dubois's apparent blow to the already-established British name of Joshua.
Now, the two fighters have shed light on that speculation during their final press conference ahead of their meeting on Saturday. When asked about what happened during their sparring days, Joshua happily confessed he took one on the chin from his upcoming opponent.
"He cracked me with a great shot, and it's my chance to get him back on Saturday. I'm looking forward to it," Joshua said with a grin.
However, the reigning champion was quick to play down the shot and wanted to look forward to their title fight, stating, "It's sparring. Now we're fighting, it's different. Let's move on."
