Is Canelo Alvarez fighting Jermell or Jermall Charlo?DAZN
The Mexican supersstar is back in the ring this weekend.

Ahead of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's announcement for his second fight of the year, most expected his opponent to be the WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo.

The thinking was that, at 33, Jermall would move up one division, and use the extra weight allowance to gain strength, and provide a stiff challenge to Alvarez.

However, when the annoucement was finally made, it was revealed that undisputed light middleweight title holder, Jermell Charlo, would be the brother making an appearance.

That means Jermell Charlo has to come up from 154lbs, a gap of 14lbs that will need to be addressed in the gym.
