Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz returned to winning ways on Saturday night with a fifth round stoppage win over former unified featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Following a loss to Gervonta 'Tank' Davis at the end of 2021, Cruz's performance in Texas proved he is someone to keep an eye on and his next opponent could be a big name.

After his win, Golden Boy boss Oscar De La Hoya took to social media to offer Cruz a date with Ryan Garcia who ended his 15-month absence from the ring last week with a points win over Emmanuel Tagoe.
