The Australian is eager to face one particular name.

IBF cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia is looking to make a successful defence of his title when he takes on Jack Massey next month.

The pair will meet on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol live on DAZN in what is set to be another memorable night of boxing in Riyadh.

Opetaia has fast become a sought after operator in the world of boxing and he is being linked with some major names for future fights, including the current WBA light heavyweight champion Bivol.

An Opetaia-Bivol fight is one which has also piqued the interest of Turki Alalshikh, and when asked about the prospect of this contest happening in the future, it is one which the Australian would 'love' to happen.

"That’s a fight that I would love to happen," Opetaia told Boxing News

"I respect Bivol, I would love to share the ring with him.

"That chess match, that stylistic fight that people watch over and over again, they’re the fights that I grew up watching.

"To have a fight like that would just be huge."
