"The Problem Child" still intends to face "Iron Mike" this fall.

Once Mike Tyson's medical scare derailed him from fighting Jake Paul, "The Problem Child" was clear about one thing — he was going to stay busy.

So, does Paul feel like fighting Mike Perry on Saturday, live on DAZN, poses any threat to a proposed November 15 fight against Tyson? Not at all. If anything, Paul views the Perry fight as an apt warm-up toward clashing with "Iron Mike" this fall.

"I take big risks," Paul said during  DAZN's "Face 2 Face" sitdown across from Perry . "That's why I put it all on the line. I don't stop for anybody. I want to stay active. I'm on the road to world champion and this is a Mike appetizer."

Paul added: "So yes, the Mike Tyson fight is happening November 15 but I need to stay active and take out mini Mike right here."

Of course, Perry has the opportunity to thwart that plan if he's able to pull the upset against Paul.

But Paul doesn't see that happening. Instead, he sees the benefits of facing Perry before Tyson, explaining how the former UFC fighter can simulate what he'll likely face against "Iron Mike."

"He's a violent guy like Mike Tyson," Paul said of Perry. "He comes forward, he takes shots, he throws wild punches like Mike Tyson and so this is a good warm-up for me. A lil' Mike Dave & Buster's appetizer."
