Jake Paul could return to boxing this summer, according to Stephen Espinoza.
Paul fought in December last year when he took on Tyron Woodley in a rematch. He won their first meeting on points and seemed to be rattled by his opponent’s ability, but in the second fight, he knocked out the former UFC fighter with a devastating blow.
He had been expected to fight Tommy Fury - Tyson Fury’s cousin - instead of Woodley for a second time. But a broken rib and a bacterial chest infection put a pad on that clash. But as of late, there have been murmurings that match-up could be resuscitated.
Speaking to Inside Boxing Live, Espinoza said: "We're talking to him. He's certainly going to fight again..
"He's got a lot of financial opportunities, and if someone is going to come along and write a cheque which is silly... It's got to make sense.
"I'm not saying that's what is happening with Jake or that what he makes is silly.”
Paul is currently focusing on promoting Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano on Saturday, April 30, live on DAZN.
