Jake Paul is the latest fighter to credit Ryan Garcia for his win over Devin Haney, but he’s paid tribute to the latter despite him losing the contest.
The social media phenomenon clashes with Mike Tyson this summer, and he took a brief period to switch his focus to Haney vs. Garcia as he gets ready for his own big fight.
Garcia began the contest brilliantly as he hit Haney early on, and things got even better for him as the fight passed the halfway point.
Haney was dropped three times before losing on the scorecards, meaning he loses for the first time as a professional.
“Man, what an amazing fight and so unexpected I seriously can’t breathe,” wrote Paul on his X account.
“Both are warriors and savages and never underestimate anyone.”
