Jake Paul has his sights set on becoming the best story in the sports, and to do so he knows the level of opposition will have to become tougher.
After dispatching Andre August, in the first round, on Friday night in Orlando, Paul assured fans that his goal is to become world champion, and he is willing to face whoever stands in his way to achieve it:
"They used to tell me that I fought one and another, but now they can't tell me anything. Shut the f*** up. The next step is the world championship. What's next will be bigger," he said, still in the ring at the Caribe Royale Orlando.
Although he noted that he will reveal his next step the next week, the influencer and fighter is gaining credibility and is ready to step up looking for ranked boxers.
"I want to keep moving forward. I want to keep climbing. To be one of the best stories, because three years ago I didn't know what a jab was, I didn't know what a jab was or what an upper was, and it's incredible to know where we are now," said the fighter who added his ninth win, for one loss and five knockouts.
