Sean O’Malley is expecting a 'very competitive fight' when Jake Paul and Mike Perry collide this weekend in Florida.
The bout, which be seen live on DAZN, will see Paul looking to maintain his momentum as he heads into a showdown with Mike Tyson at the end of the year.
Since losing to Tommy Fury in 2023, Paul has rebounded impressively and has scored impressive wins against Nate Diaz, Andre August, and Ryan Bourland.
O’Malley, the current UFC bantamweight champion, has delivered his verdict on the fight and he believes Perry can provide Paul with a test.
“I think Jake Paul beats Mike Perry,” said O’Malley when discussing the contest on the TimboSugarShow.
“I think Mike Perry vs. Jake Paul is a very interesting, very competitive fight, probably the most competitive fight that Jake’s had outside of Tommy Fury.
“Mike’s in it, but he’s in bare-knuckle, it’s a different sport. Different size, space to fight in, range, it’s very similar but very different. Jake’s been boxing, Mike’s been bare-knuckle boxing.”
