Kevin McBride was the last fighter to share a ring with Mike Tyson in a professional fight all the way back in 2005.
The Irishman was able to stop Tyson, but he’s backing his former opponent to get the job done when he faces Jake Paul later this year.
The pair are set to clash in November as Tyson looks to turn back the clock against the popular YouTuber.
Tyson has been active on the exhibition circuit, but Paul is likely to be his toughest test in almost two decades and McBride has delivered his verdict.
“Jake Paul's getting a little bit better, he’s getting more ring experience, but he's going to find out the power Tyson has,” said McBride when speaking to Instant Casinos.
“Paul is maybe half the age of Tyson, but Tyson is so dangerous. Power is the last thing you lose. You can see it on the videos he's posting, it may only be a short video, but it's unbelievable power.
“All Mike Tyson has to do is connect and Jake Paul will be seeing Christmas lights for the next week. He’ll time him in the first couple rounds and it will be over.”
