The rivals meet next month.

Jeff Fenech knows all about big fights following a legendary career that saw the Australian reign as world champion as well as partaking in multiple high-profile clashes.

One contest coming up that has grabbed Fenech’s attention is Jake Paul’s imminent battle with Mike Tyson that takes place next month.

At the backend of his career, Tyson was trained by Fenech and when he walked into his last professional fight in 2005 against Kevin McBride, it was Fenech guiding him.

Approaching two decades since that defeat to the Irishman, Tyson is preparing to do it all again.

The popular New Yorker, once boxing’s most dangerous fighter, begins his fight with Paul an underdog as he concedes a huge amount of age to the thriving YouTuber.

Despite giving away several advantages, Fenech knows what Tyson is capable of and he’s given his verdict on the upcoming clash.

“If Mike concentrates and makes him miss, and then makes him pay, that’s what Mike’s an expert in, he’s got great head movement,” said Fenech when speaking to Mirror Fighting

“If he does that in 30 seconds, the fight could be over in 30 seconds.”

“Jake Paul doesn’t have the skill, the boxing knowledge. I’ve watched him, but anyone can punch a pad or a bag or someone who really can’t fight.”
