Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nikisa Bidarian says he hopes to confirm a fighter to face Jake Paul in the coming fortnight.
Paul is set to fight on December 15 live on DAZN, but there is no confirmed opponent just yet.
The crossover fighter fought Nate Diaz earlier in the year to return to winning ways after he suffered his first defeat against Tommy Fury.
Paul has been linked with a number of crossover fighters, as well as professional boxers, so all eyes will be on the announcement to see the kind of challenge that Paul is taking on next.
MVP was part of the Amanda Serrano vs. Danila Ramos clash on Friday night, and speaking at the post-fight press conference he discussed Paul’s potential plans.
He said: “Just regarding Friday, December 15, there was a plan to announce Jake Paul's opponent for that evening.
“Unfortunately, the opponent, which was a 7-1 boxer, has not been able to obtain a visa to come to the U.S., so we're currently reviewing alternative options for his opponent, but the plan is to try to announce it within the next two weeks.”
