Jermall Charlo is aiming to get back into the ring to settle the bad blood with Caleb Plant.
Plant and Charlo recently came together in late July and Plant slapped the middleweight champion.
Quite what transpired has never been made unequivocally clear, but with the 33-year-old out of action since 2021, there was an obvious fight to be made if Charlo would step up.
For now, Charlo is expected to fight on the card beneath David Benavidez vs. Demetrius Andrade on November 24, against Jose Benavidez.
A win then would re-establish him as the WBC middleweight division and set him up for more activity.
Plant’s last fight was against David Benavidez, when he lost in March earlier this year, and Charlo said he would be up for a clash, speaking on Instagram, reported BoxingScene.com.
“When I get a chance to fight Caleb Plant,” said Charlo. “I’m a knock the f--- out of Caleb Plant.”
