The unified world junior middleweight champion lays down ground rules for the welterweights if they ever move up to 154 pounds.

Jermell Charlo sounded open to welcoming Danny Garcia up to junior middleweight for a fight while speaking with DAZN News earlier in the week.

And the unified world junior middleweight champion, who fights WBO titleholder Brian Castano for undisputed glory on Saturday night, is also willing to fight another welterweight if he ever opts to climb up to 154 pounds. That welterweight is WBO champion Terence Crawford.

"We could make some money," Charlo told a pool of media Thursday following the Charlo-Castano press conference, as reported by FightHype.com

But as Garcia's name was broached seconds later during the same media session, Charlo was struck with an idea in the case the Philadelphia fighter and Crawford ever abandon welterweight to test the junior middleweight ranks.

"Why they don't fight each other?" Charlo posed. "Leave me the hell alone. Let them fight each other."

Charlo, knowing he could grab the missing piece of the undisputed championship puzzle this weekend, additionally offered: "They got to work their way up to the champ.

"I can't see you until you prove it. I've been proving it."
