Jesse Rodriguez is ready to fight Julio Cesar Martinez if he defeats Srisaket Sor Rungvisai this weekend.
‘Bam’ is due to fight the Thai fighter at the Tech Port Arena, San Antonio, as he defends his WBC super flyweight title.
He told the DAZN Boxing Show that if he is victorious, he would fight at 112lbs if Martinez was willing to take the fight.
“After this Rungvisai fight we’re going to see how it goes and if Rey Martinez is willing to take on the fight then I’m willing to do so as well,” he said.
“That’s a fight I’ve been wanting since years, finally get that fight, it’ll be a sick fight for sure.”
