Fury looks a leaner athlete this May.

Joe Joyce believes that a trim Tyson Fury could have an advantage over Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury often comes in heavy to fights but in recent weeks, he has appeared to slim down after an intense training camp.

The WBC champion will dwarf Usyk in the ring - a challenge the Ukrainian has dealt with before in his career - and many think that size and strength advantage will be crucial for Fury.

The pair fight live on DAZN PPV this Saturday.

Speaking to Ash Rose via Freebets, Joyce suggested that losing weight will improve Fury’s stamina and agility, giving him some extra options in the fight.

He said: “I think he was already going to be heavier than Usyk but maybe it'll just allow him to move around the ring a bit better and maybe throw more punches or, you know, go, if he's going to go the distance.

“Because they're both very skilful and their thing is not, like, massive power.

“Fury shows that he can knock some people out, like that uppercut with Dillian White and if he lands that on Usyk. I'm not sure exactly what's going to happen but I'm excited for it.”
