Joe Joyce has vowed to end Derek Chisora's career ahead of their heavyweight fight.
The two British operators meet at London's O2 Arena this Saturday, live on ESPN+ in the US (click here for more information), in a fight which carries huge implications.
A win for either Joyce or Chisora would prolong their careers, while the loser may have to call time on their career inside the ring.
Joyce, a former Olympian, still believes he has more to give, and is yet to challenge for a world title, and when speaking to TNT Sports ahead of his meeting with Chisora, he is expecting a tough contest whilst also aiming to bring an end to the 40-year-old's time as a boxer.
"He’s going to bring war and bring excitement and unpredictability in the press conferences," Joyce said.
"So, you know what you're going to get. He's had a great career and I guess I should be ending it. I don't want it to go the distance, I don't think he does either.
“It’s 10 rounds so it's not 12, but I want to make a statement and then take that statement and go on further."
