Johnny Fisher will be watching closely when Joe Joyce and Derek Chisora collide in a heavyweight clash this weekend.
The veteran pair will be putting it all on the line in a fight where the loser won’t have many serious options moving forward.
Fisher, one of the world’s best prospects at heavyweight, is eager to step up from domestic class in the next year or two, and he could see himself facing Joyce or Chisora one day.
The Essex man enhanced his credentials when beating Alen Babic earlier this month, and he’s had his say on the upcoming battle.
“It’s a little scrap that, a couple of the boys are veterans of the game now. And that is another fan, friendly, fan, friendly scrap,” said Fisher when speaking to Boxing News.
“And listen, I like both men. Joe’s obviously, I’m closer to Joe. He’s my friend, and I’ll be backing him in the fight.”
