Former world champion Tony Bellew issued a warning to Josh Taylor ahead of his fight with Jack Catterall tonight.
The two super lightweights run it back after their 2022 clash which saw Taylor retain his undisputed status despite many thinking the Englishman had done enough for victory..
The rematch was put back due to injury and other obligations, and in that time the Scot has given up some belts, and also lost the WBO strap to Teofimo Lopez Jr. last year.
A defeat, according to former WBC cruiserweight champ Bellew, could be a hammer blow to Taylor’s career.
He told the BBC : "This is a defining fight for Josh because losing sets him back two years in my opinion - it really does.
"I just think this is a stylistic match-up that doesn't really suit him. I think it's always going to be a hard one.
"Jack Catterall's style is very unique, very hard to prepare for and he's a lot more heavy-handed than people give him credit for."
