"The Leeds Warrior" suffered his third successive loss on Saturday night.

Josh Warrington has a huge decision to make when it comes to his boxing career.

On Saturday night, he attempted to have a successful debut at super featherweight when he faced current IBF champion Anthony Cacace on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium.

However, Cacace had too much for Warrington who struggled to impose himself despite showing plenty of courage.

After Cacace was declared the winner on the judges' scorecards, Warrington then placed his gloves in the centre of an empty ring which is often the sign of a fighter calling time on his career.

However, when speaking to DAZN's Ade Oladipo in his dressing room after the fight, Warrington left the door slightly ajar on his boxing career, but insisted that one thing needs to happen if he was to continue.

"I don't know," Warrington said when asked whether his time in the ring is over.

"It's one of them where if I was [to continue], I'd have to be out there sooner rather than later, I can't wait another year."

If Warrington does decide to hang up the gloves, it is a career he can look back on fondly with plenty of highlights, most notably becoming a world champion at Elland Road, the home of his beloved Leeds United, by beating Lee Selby in what was a fight and night that British boxing fans will never forget.
