Juan Manuel Marquez spent his entire career seeking out the best fights as he collected world titles against numerous quality operators.
The Mexican star, who last fought in 2014 when beating Mike Alvarado, was one of his generation's best boxers and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020.
World champion in multiple divisions. Marquez is largely remembered for his incredible four-fight series with Manny Pacquiao.
Marquez also shared the ring with Floyd Mayweather, but who does he credit with having the best jab he ever came across?
“Marco Antonio Barrera. When you want to dodge a jab using speed, you must calculate it,” said Barrera when speaking to The Ring in 2016.
“That is what I did with him. I tried to guess where his punches were going and then counterpunch and decrease their accuracy."
