The heavyweight is trying to rebuild his career as he approaches 30.

Kash Ali aims to put his biting scandal behind him by setting up a rematch fight with David Price.

The 29-year-old heavyweight fought Price in March 2019 and was disqualified when he bit his rival, giving him the first and only defeat of his career.

He was back in the ring eight months later, defeating Artur Kubiak, and he has two more wins against Kamil Sokolowksi and Phil Williams to build an 18-1 fight record.

Ali is now promoted by Dennis Hobson and is trained by Richard Towers as he looks to rebuild a credible career. He told Sky Sports that he would be keen to make a rematch with Price.

"For that fight, I would love it, if it could happen," Ali said.

"I'm definitely willing to fight him, 100 per cent. I would fight him next if he's up for it.

"It would have to be the right timing and if it makes sense for David Price. I'm sure he wants the fight as well, because he probably feels like it didn't end in the way that he wanted it to end.

"I thought I was getting on top of him towards the end.

"He knows that. That's the reason I don't think he's really said nothing about a rematch, but I took his shots early on and I was getting on top.

"He knows it's going to be a hard fight. No disrespect to David, but he sparred with me and he knows what I'm capable of. He knows I'm a dangerous, capable contender."

Ali was banned for six months following the bite on Price. Price last fought in October 2019 when lost against Derek Chisora with the WBO Intercontinental title up for grabs.
