In the latest episode of "Jabs," Chris Mannix and Sergio Mora fantasy-book Katie Taylor's next fight after her Fight Camp win over Delfine Persoon.

Katie Taylor moved to 16-0 (6 KOs) when she defeated Belgium's Delfine Persoon (44-3, 18 KOs) via 10-round unanimous decision at the fourth and final Fight Camp card in the second thrilling, closely-contested war between the two.

Though the win did not come easy, it was a much-improved performance from Ireland's Taylor and one that many viewers were able to accept as a win for the champ on the scorecards.

In the latest episode of "Jabs," hosts Chris Mannix and Sergio Mora try to pick the perfect next fight for Taylor, now that the one debateable win on her record no longer carries any doubt.

"It’s only natural: the rematch with [Jessica] McCaskill", suggested former WBC light-middleweight champion Mora.

"They’re both undisputed champions now. And I don't want no catchweight. I want Taylor to keep doing what she’s been doing since the Olympics.

"She’s already fought her, so it's not like she's fighting something else at that new weight. It's what she needs to be doing. She needs to be looking at all the belts, that would be incredible."

After Persoon fought Taylor for a second time, however, Mannix doesn't want another repeat offering.

He explained: "The marketing is there but I just don't love the match-up. The first fight wasn't terrible but Taylor won a wide decision,

"I'm looking for the most compelling fight, and for me there’s only one: Claressa Shields at 147.

"Shields told me she would make 147 for Taylor. There'd be a size advantage, Claressa would probably rehydrate to 155-160, but it's the best challenge for Taylor.

"It'd be the biggest name in boxing vs. the biggest star. Two of the most decorated Olympic boxers ever, that’s the match I want for women’s boxing."

Mora in turn offered some first-hand fighter's insight on that take: "You’re thinking like a promoter, not a boxer," he told Mannix.

"I love the idea as a promoter but as a fighter? That’s way too big a step up. Let her fight McCaskill and if she wins that, she is undisputed at two weights.

"Let the Shields fight marinate a little bit, let the fans salivate over it. That’s the way to do it."

Mannix then pointed out one major time that was not the way to do it.

"Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya did it," he explained, "and Manny was the one who came out of it [better] because Oscar had to come down and wasn’t at 100 per cent. It was a kingmaking performance for Manny, and Taylor could do the same in a fight like that."
