The two champions are likely to meet next year.

Katie Taylor wants to finish her career embracing big-name fights and ending as an undisputed, multiple weight champion.

Taylor defeated Jennifer Han in a defence of her lightweight belts on DAZN, and Eddie Hearn had suggested afterwards that she is due one more fight in December before headlining Madison Square Garden to take on Amanda Serrano.

Taylor first recognised the efforts of her opponent, saying: “I knew coming into the fight that there was no room for complacency, every fight is a tough fight at this level.

“I was hoping for a stoppage tonight but she was very good at surviving for the whole fight, very crafty, very slippery, but 100-89 points, a shut out - can’t get better than that.”

Now 35, Taylor was asked what she planned for the remainder of her career, and a fight with Serrano appeared to be just what she was looking for.

“I am willing to fight anyone at any weight, I want the big flights,” she said.

“I want to be involved in the biggest fights possible. I’m fairly sure I will finish my career undefeated as a multiple weight, undisputed champion.”
