KSI faces Tommy Fury this weekend and the fight is expected to do huge numbers due to the popularity of the pair.
The eagerly anticipated bout has been a long time coming and after months of verbal exchanges, the pair will finally go at it.
The success of KSI’s events via his Misfits promotional group has been a real eye opener since the YouTuber entered the boxing world.
Sold out events featuring some of the biggest crossover names means that KSI has found a successful formula, and he thinks the presence of Misfits has prompted traditional boxing to up its game too.
"What I feel like we have done is we have pushed all the other boxing organisations to make these big fights,” said KSI when speaking on The Peter Crouch Podcast.
We want to see (Ryan) Garcia vs Tank (Gervonta Davis) fight, make the Fury vs Usyk fight because they are seeing what we are doing with Misfits, and think, 'we are going to be left behind if we don’t step up.'
"I think it’s great for everyone because now we finally get to see the fights we have wanted to for years."
