WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie is still planning to win a heavyweight world title.

The 29-year-old Englishman faces Polish fighter Michael Cieslak on Sunday, in a fight shown live on DAZN.

However Okolie admitted a move up from cruiserweight is under consideration as he gets older.

"It depends how making weight goes," he explained to the BBC. "It's going well at the moment and I'm at a better place than my last two camps.

"But it will be interesting to see if the last couple of pounds are easy to take off or not."

Another option would be a move up to bridgerweight to fight WBC champion Oscar Rivas. The Colombian is the inaugural champion in the division created by the Mexican governing body, which occupies the space between cruiser and heavyweight.

"Rivas is a good fight," Okolie acknowledged. "He knocked Dillian [Whyte] down and even though he lost that fight, it would be a good measuring stick for me at heavyweight boxing.

"If I can first get the WBC cruiserweight, then bridgerweight will be a nice one to at least add to the collection."
