Earlier this year, Jonas scored one of the biggest wins of her illustrious career as she outpointed Mikaela Mayer in a thrilling battle in Liverpool.
The win was intended to springboard Jonas into some of the biggest fights available, but it’s unconfirmed what the multi-weight world champion will do next.
Joe Gallagher has trained Jonas since she turned professional, and he’d like to see the former Olympian renew hostilities with Katie Taylor after Jonas narrowly lost to the Irish fighter in 2021.
"She wants to be out in June and then again in October/November," said Gallagher when speaking to Sky Sports.
"Katie Taylor is the fight she's always been after and something we've always spoken about.
"If Tasha was to go down to fight Katie at 140 there's a chance for Tasha to become a three-weight world champion or Katie to move up one. That fight is always there that we'd really like to do.
"We'll do a defence in the meantime and see how the Katie Taylor situation looks in the autumn time and they could finish with a last dance together."
