Logan Paul has once again tormented Floyd Mayweather by insisting he won their exhibition bout last year.
The popular YouTube star, now specialising in combat sports, faced Mayweather last June in a contest that was fought under exhibition rules with no official winner being declared. The bout went the full distance which allowed Paul to take a moral victory.
With only minimal boxing experience under his belt before the Mayweather session, Paul wasn’t expected to trouble the former five weight world champion.
Using his superior size advantage, Paul was able to be strong on the inside, but it was Mayweather, four years retired from boxing at this point, who was doing the better work.
"I didn't lose, it was an exhibition," said Paul when speaking on his Impaulsive podcast. "I didn't lose, there was no loser.
“I mean I am going to be honest with you, I think I won that fight. He didn't knock a YouTuber out in eight rounds, and he guaranteed a KO in that press conference.
"I don't know if there is a world where you can take away from that fight that Floyd won."
