One fighter's power has been praised.

Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF heavyweight title against Anthony Joshua this September, but Frazer Clarke has identified a fighter who punches harder than both men.

The rivals are renowned for their power and Clarke has shared the ring with both men during sparring sessions.

Another boxer who Clarke trained with is Liverpool’s David Price when he was a young novice learning the sport.

Price was seen as one of the heavyweight division's brightest hopes when he turned pro, but he eventually walked away from boxing after a tough loss to Derek Chisora in 2019.

Clarke has been discussing all three of his former sparring partners.

“It’s a different kind of punch but I think that on a single shot probably Joshua, just [punches harder]. Joshua comes with a bit more speed than Dubois, so they come sharp, Dubois is a real thud,” said Clarke when speaking to Boxing Social.

“I’ll say it again, and he has no place in this conversation [about Joshua and Dubois] but both of them two are leaps and bounds away from David Price – f--k me, Jesus Christ.

“That was different gravy. I was young at the time, probably 17 or 18, but that was an experience. I think that he was taking it easy as well! In one punch, David Price has unbelievable power. Unbelievable.”
