What does Usyk have planned?

Oleksandr Usyk is the current undisputed heavyweight champion, but the outstanding Ukrainian sees his future in another weight category.

Usyk defeated Tyson Fury last month to win all four world titles, but could a return to cruiserweight be imminent for the pound-for-pound superstar?

In 2018, Usyk became the ruler at cruiserweight and added to his legacy at that weight class by defending that status against Tony Bellew the same year.

That was the last time Usyk competed at cruiserweight, but he’s now confirmed that he could be heading back there.

"I think maybe after the rematch, I am going to go down in weight to cruiserweight. I want more [fights at] cruiserweight," said Usyk when speaking to the 3 Knockdown Rule podcast

"Maybe I can be undisputed for a second time in the cruiserweight division, it's my plan. When I start to prepare for my training camp [as a heavyweight], I have to eat all the time. For me it's hard, I don't like it."
