Daniel Dubois knows what it takes to step into the ring and experience the quality of Oleksandr Usyk after losing to the Ukrainian in 2023.
But despite his setback to Usyk, the Briton is certain one fighter would beat him in his prime, in the shape of legendary heavyweight Evander Holyfield.
The American star, now retired, took a similar path to Usyk when reaching the top including amateur success before world title success at cruiserweight and heavyweight.
With both enjoying similar career journeys, their profiles are often compared, but Dubois has no doubts who would come out on top if they were to be pitted against each other.
“Holyfield all day, man, come on,” he said when speaking to Sky Sports.
Dubois will defend his IBF heavyweight title next week, live on DAZN, when he steps into the ring with Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium.
