Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2: Fury makes unique bet ahead of heavyweight rematch

Tyson Fury is so confident that he'll defeat Oleksandr Usyk in December that he's willing to put his status as a cover star in a new boxing video game on the line.

Fury lost to Usyk when the heavyweights first met in May, making Usyk the division's first undisputed champion in a generation. Now the men are gearing up for a rematch, and Fury believes he'll have what it takes to topple the Ukrainian this time around.

The 36-year-old Briton is ready to put his money where his mouth is too, offering up his spot on the cover of the soon-to-be-released "Undisputed" game. Fury is on the cover of the "Digital Deluxe WBC Edition" of the game, which is scheduled for an Oct. 11 release, but he's willing to concede the honour to Usyk if the champion comes out on top again.

"If I don't win this rematch, I'm going to relinquish that front cover and give it to Oleksandr," Fury said in an interview on Undisputed's YouTube channel.

"That's what I'll do with the front cover. I'll relinquish my right to be on that front cover and I'll give it to Oleksandr 'The Great.'

"But if I do what I think I'm going to do, then I'll keep the front cover."

It's a simple equation to Fury, as the winner of the Dec. 21 showdown is the one who should adorn the cover.

"If I don't beat him in the rematch, then I don't deserve to be on that front, he does," he said.
