Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are expected to clash again at the end of the year and Bob Arum is expecting a different outcome.
The pair finally met last month, and it was Usyk who took the decision following an intense battle of two halves that saw the Ukrainian pull away in the closing stages.
Fury has activated an immediate rematch clause, and the fight is currently set to take place on December 21.
Arum, Fury’s American promoter, has seen his fighter in many hard fights, but he's confident Fury can settle the series at the end of 2024.
"If Tyson trains well and goes 12 meaningful rounds, he should be able to beat Usyk,” said Arum when speaking to Sky Sports.
Will Fury be able to adjust and make the necessary changes required to defeat Usyk in their rematch? We’ll know by the time this year reaches its climax.
