Usyk and Fury are preparing to meet again.

Audley Harrison believes Tyson Fury has what it takes to level the series with Oleksandr Usyk when the pair meet again on December 21.

Earlier this year, Usyk became undisputed heavyweight champion when he rallied in the second half of a pulsating clash to claim a split decision victory over his rival.

A stunning ninth round from Usyk where he continually hurt Fury, forcing a standing count, was the difference as the Ukrainian claimed victory.

Fury has activated his option to pursue an immediate rematch, and the pair are set to collide again at the end of the year.

Harrison, the 2000 Olympic gold medallist, failed in his only world title attempt when he was defeated emphatically by David Haye back in 2010.

Still an observant follower of the division he served his time in, Harrison has spoken about the Usyk vs. Fury sequel, and he’s confident his countryman can get the job done.

“Fury isn’t the favourite on paper. Usyk can dance around him, get in and out and outbox him. But something tells me Tyson Fury has that extra bit of magic,” said Harrison when speaking to Betway

“He’s going to go to Saudi Arabia and turn back the clock. He needs to match Usyk’s fitness and conditioning. Tyson Fury did a lot of things wrong against Usyk, just like AJ did, but he gave Usyk more trouble than anyone else has.

“I think Fury, when he’s fully motivated with the bit between teeth, can really challenge Usyk in a rematch. He just needs to use all his advantages. He’s got something to prove.”

Harrison added, “Fury’s a boxing man through and through, with ups and downs throughout his career. Sometimes he has a different attitude in fights, and it doesn’t always turn out well, but watching these recent videos, you can see he’s in payback mode and wants to set things right.”
