The pair meet again later this year.

Lawrence Okolie believes this December’s rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will be another close affair with heavyweight glory up for grabs.

The pair will meet on December 21 with the victor set to end 2024 as the world’s dominant heavyweight fighter.

Earlier this year, Usyk produced a stunning second half performance against Fury to give his opponent a standing count in round nine before finishing strong to win on points.

Their second meeting is fast approaching, and Okolie, the current WBC bridgerweight champion, has had his say on the contest.

“If Fury goes in with better condition and is hungry, he won’t want to lose to the same guy twice, so it’s a good fight,” said Okolie when speaking to Betway

“I think it will go very similar but it’s about who gets the great moments. Does Fury get a knockdown himself this time? It depends on who gets the better moments. They’re both so good.”
