Terence Crawford has vowed to break the heart of Eddie Hearn when he faces Israil Madrimov this summer.
The pound-for-pound superstar will move to 154lbs for the first time in his career as he looks to become a four-weight world champion against the talented Uzbek fighter.
Madrimov, promoted by Hearn, will be aiming to be the latest Matchroom fighter to put a dent in the Nebraska man.
Crawford has already scored wins over Ricky Burns and Julius Indongo, two fighters Hearn was invested in, and he’s aiming to do similar against Madrimov.
"You are going to get heartbroken again,” said Crawford to Hearn at the press conference to announce the fight.
Hearn replied, "My heart's been broken before.”
Madrimov vs. Crawford takes place on August 3 in Los Angeles, and it’ll also see the return of Andy Ruiz who will go up against Jarrell Miller.
