It's food truck — we mean Fight Season — on DAZN.
DAZN is launching a food truck that will roll up outside Staples Center in Los Angeles, play music and serve delicious food on Oct. 16 when the Lakers play the Warriors and again on Oct. 22 when the Lakers and Clippers face off to start the NBA regular season.
The truck is covered with DAZN branding and images of Fight Season fighters: Canelo Alvarez, Andy Ruiz Jr., Anthony Joshua, Gennadiy "GGG" Golovkin and Jaime Munguia.
Several professional boxers will be serving food and be available for photos each day. On Wednesday, Seniesa Estrada, who is fighting on the Canelo-Kovalev card, Pablo Cano, Oscar Negrete and Manny Robles, the son of Andy Ruiz Jr.'s trainer, will be there.
On Oct. 22, Diego Pacheco, Vergil Ortiz, JoJo Diaz and Andrew Cancio, who is fighting on Nov. 23, are expected to be in attendance.
To order any of the food items, named after DAZN fighters, all you have to do is answer, "WHO YA GOT?"
The menu items include:
Canelo's Bowl: White rice and pinto beans topped with a red cabbage mixture of black beans, corn, cilantro, green onions, lime juice and extra virign olive oil; adding chicken is optional.
Munguia's Tijuana Tostada: Refried pinto beans and shredded chicken in a spicy homemade tostada topped with shredded lettuce, sour cream, cotija cheese and jalapeno pico de gallo.
Joshua's English Breakfast Burrito: English breakfast burrito with a combination of diced potatoes, mushrooms, english bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and baked beans rolled in a flour tortilla served with a side of salsa and sour cream.
GGG's Triple Dip: Homemade tortilla chips with a three dip selection: nacho cheese, mild salsa and homemade guacamole.
Ruiz's Champion's Chicharon Tacos: Chicharon taco with deep fried pork rinds simmered in a tomato and tomatillo sauce on a corn tortilla and topped with jalapeno pico de gallo.
There's even a custom drink option, Canelo-Fresca. This is a Jamaica lemonade with canela (hibiscus).
Fall fight schedule stadium cups, koozies, napkins and serving vessels will also be distributed.
The fall fight schedule on DAZN included Munguia's win over Patrick Allotey on Sept. 14, GGG's win over Sergiy Derevyanchenko on Oct. 5 and the upcoming bouts:
