Will one fighter walk away from the sport?

Ohara Davies is entering his fight with Adam Azim uncertain whether he will continue with his career afterwards no matter what the result.

The London super-lightweight, a recent interim world title challenger, is facing one of the brightest prospects in British boxing as he looks to get his career back on track.

Earlier this year, Davies travelled to America to secure a big win, but his contest with Ismael Barroso ended in disaster as he was stopped in the opening session.

The shock result put Davies’ world title hopes on hold, but he can get his career back on the right track with a win over Azim.

Ngannou v Ferreira

In a long career that has brought many memorable moments, Davies has achieved many great honours, but he’s always fell short when attempting to step up.

Losses to Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall have raised questions about Davies’ ceiling and now that there's’ doubt whether he’ll ever reach the top due to recent comments ahead of the Azim fight.

“I don’t know if I’ll box again after this fight,” said Davies when speaking to BoxingScene

“I have fallen out of love with the sport of boxing, and this might be my last fight.”
