There's a huge night this weekend to deal with first.

Frank Warren thinks that Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder is almost certain to take place, but is unsure when Tyson Fury will meet his fellow Briton.

The pair have been linked with a fight for years, but ultimately Joshua met Oleksandr Usyk in two title fights, and Fury and Wilder played out their trilogy rematch.

Fury remains a world champion and will take on Usyk in an undisputed clash next year, and Joshua seems likely to meet Wilder.

The two winners of those fights may well meet.

Meanwhile, Joshua and Wilder must win their respective fights against Otto Wallin and Joshua Parker, respectively, in Saudi Arabia at Day of Reckoning, shown live on DAZN PPV this Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Warren talked up the pairing.

"The joint-main events have a lot of significance as far as boxing's concerned in as much that Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are involved in quite tasty and tough fights and should they come through then they're going to be in a position where I believe they're going to be facing off next year," Warren said.

"That's a massive, massive fight. A fight that a lot of people, certainly the fans talk about a lot. But to get there they've got to get through next Saturday night in Riyadh.

"Get it out of the way on Saturday and all will be revealed but there's a will to make this happen and I'm quite sure everybody's going to be happy with the outcome provided these guys deliver.

"The most important thing for them, they've got to deliver."

A potential fight with Fury and Joshua, is less certain, though.

"He'd have a long wait for Tyson," Warren said. "Tyson's got his fight and his programme's set out for next year and at this moment in time doesn't include Joshua.”

You can watch the Day of Reckoning, featuring Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Wallin, Deontay Wilder vs. Joseph Parker and Daniel Dubois vs. Jarrell Miller, on DAZN PPV on Saturday, December 23. Click here for more details.
