There are plenty of big names around at 140lb.

Regis Prograis is looking to become world champion at 140lbs for a third time in his career.

Prograis held the WBC belt until December last time, when he lost it to Devin Haney.

Haney then went on to lose to Ryan Garcia in a recent, controversial match-up.

There are a number of big names at 140lbs, including Teofimo Lopez Jr, Jack Catterall and Subriel Matias to name a few, and it is currently one of the most competitive divisions in the sport.

Speaking to BoxingScene , Prograis still sees opportunities.

“Every time someone fights at 140 pounds, the division is shifting,” he explained. “They look bad, and then they look good. The cards keep shifting, but I am still in the mix.

“It's all about the bounceback. The greatest fighters have done it, which I plan on doing, too. My goal is to become a three-time world champion.

“Give me a comeback fight and let's get into them. I want to fight good fighters. I want the belts. … Boxing is crazy, and sometimes you don't get the fights you want.”
