Andy Ruiz returns to action this summer when he faces Jarrell Miller, but he’s already looking ahead to bigger contests.
Ruiz hit the jackpot in 2019 when he defeated Anthony Joshua to become world champion, but he lost the belts in an immediate rematch.
Since losing to Joshua in 2019, Ruiz has only fought twice securing wins against Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz.
The exciting fighter has bever given up on becoming world champion again, but he’s fully aware that he has to work for such an opportunity and that starts with Miller on August 3.
“I have to climb up the ladder again. After I do these fights and get back into the groove, I’d love to fight Joseph Parker, [Deontay] Wilder and Joshua,” said Ruiz at a press conference to announce his fight.
“The main thing is training and staying in shape. After this fight, I plan on training and training and come back in December.”
