It appears that Ryan Garcia is planning a return to the ring if his social media is to be believed.
Garcia has not fought since his clash with Devin Haney back in April which he won by majority decision. However, this bout has since been declared a no contest after Garcia tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
Since this ruling, there have been no immediate plans for Garcia to return to the ring, but in a post on X, the 26-year-old announced when he will make his comeback and who will be in the opposite corner.
"Ryan Garcia vs. Teofimo Lopez," Garcia wrote.
"For my return in April. Let's make it happen Teo."
Lopez is currently the WBO super lightweight champion, and has enjoyed a successful 2024 with two wins from two against Jamaine Ortiz and Steve Claggett.
