Sandy Ryan is ready for some high profile fights after beating Terri Harper last night.
The WBO welterweight champion retained her belt in Sheffield after Harper was pulled out of the fight by her corner following the third round.
"I know Terri Harper and I knew I had to take it to her early," Ryan said after the fight.
"I had to be more smart in my work, but I knew I had to take it to her and stick to the gameplan."
Speaking to the BBC about her decision to train away from Britain, in the US, she said: "It's made me mentally stronger, [living] away from home and everyone I knew.
"I couldn't even go out at the weekends because I had no one to go for a coffee with. I was seriously locked in and it just pays off."
Ryan’s next fight could be against Jessica McCaskill, though her next fight is against Lauren Price in May.
That might open the door for a fight with IBF champion Natasha Jonas this summer.
Either way, Ryan is up for, "Any big fight. He [promoter Eddie Hearn] knows I'll be willing to take any big fight."
