The Australian is one of the form boxers in the world and is loving life on her journey to the top.

Skye Nicolson has stated that it feels "like it's my destiny" as she prepares to make history against Raven Chapman in Saudi Arabia and retain her world title.

The WBC female featherweight title holder will feature on the first female bout of a Riyadh Season card in October when she competes beneath Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol.

The match is the latest for the Australian, who holds an 11-0 record with one KO, as she looks to maintain her meteoric rise through the rankings since turning professional.

Nicolson might only be taking matters one fight at a time, but she firmly believes she is on the course she should be with every victory she racks up in the ring.

"I think I’m constantly getting better," she told DAZN. "I have an amazing team that I trust wholeheartedly. I think every single camp, we get better.

"We reach new levels every single time and it has been no different in this camp. We’ve gone to another level again and that’s where my confidence comes from."

On heading forward, Nicolson remains confident in her end goal, adding: "I know what I’m doing in the gym, and I know what I’m going to do on the night.

"It’s amazing, it’s so special. I feel like it’s my destiny. It’s already been written for me and I’m just living it, I’m loving it."
