The two will make history as the first female fighters to compete on a Riyadh Season card this coming weekend.

Skye Nicolson and Raven Chapman have both vowed to make the other "hate every second" of their fight when they meet at Riyadh Season's IV Crown Showdown live on DAZN.

The Australian will defend her WBC female featherweight title against the Briton in a history-making bout at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Throughout the week, both fighters have paid respect to their opponent, and anticipate a different kind of test respectively from each other when they step into the ring.

At Thursday's press conference, Chapman spoke about her satisfaction at landing a title shot, stressing that she was determined to ensure she walks away with the belt.

"It’s the belt I’ve wanted," she said. "We’ve been going down that WBC route and now is the opportunity. I’ll make sure it goes the same way as all my fights have gone.

"I don’t think any opponent I’ve had has enjoyed a second of a fight we’ve had. Saturday, it’s going to be exactly the same."

"She’s definitely never fought anyone like me. It’s going to be a very different story on Saturday night. If she’s seen me at every other fight week, she’ll know I’m always confident."

The two will contest the third fight of the card when they meet on Saturday, as Nicolson looks to further cement her place as one of the premier female featherweight fighters.
