At 25 years old, Teofimo Lopez has carved out a stellar boxing resume.

"The Takeover" followed up on being a unified lightweight world champion by capturing the WBO junior welterweight crown recently.

With boxing skills and power to his punch, more marquee fights await the Brooklyn, New York native.

That being said, DAZN takes a look at Lopez's professional ledger and feats to date.

What is Teofimo Lopez's professional record?

Teofimo Lopez sports a 19-1 professional record with 13 of those victories coming by the way of knockout.

Lopez is the reigning WBO junior welterweight world champion, having previously held the WBA (Super), WBO and IBF lightweight world titles.

Lopez calmly brushed Richard Commey back with a compact left hook, before landing a hellacious right to crumple him to the canvas. When Commey managed to make it to his feet, he was on jelly legs and Lopez swarmed with enough punches to force the referee to stop the fight for a second-round TKO that crowned a then-22-year-old world champion as Lopez snagged the IBF lightweight title.

Against Vasiliy Lomachenko, Lopez faced his most-accomplished opponent yet. The three-division world champion walked into the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with the WBA (Super) and WBO lightweight world titles stacked up against Lopez's IBF strap. With the older Lomachenko known for his boxing wizardry, it was Lopez who beat the savvy vet at his own game — pure sweet science brilliance.

When Lomachenko started to gain the upper hand during the latter rounds, Lopez finished the bout strong with a solid 12th-round showing that helped propel him to the big upset and a unified lightweight world championship "Takeover."

Following the biggest win of his career against Lomachenko, Lopez suffered a major upset loss by dropping a unanimous decision to George Kambosos Jr. in November 2021. Despite bouncing back to win his next two fights, Lopez voiced doubts about his own mental approach to the fight game.

Well, that being said, the New Yorker still managed to get himself together enough to rise to the occasion and deliver another spectacular performance by beating Josh Taylor to the punch and displaying enough power to earn a unanimous decision and snatch the WBO 140-pound world title.
